The Sheer Fun Climbing Experience
New to climbing or looking to flash your next V10? We have something for everyone.
Our fixed, 12' vertical walls offer routes for beginners and intermediates. Our professionally set routes are marked using the V scale, with V0 being the easiest and V4 being the most difficult. Each route is marked by colored tape: Blue, Green, Yellow and Pink with Blue being the easiest and Pink the most difficult. All start holds are marked with two pieces of tape. Each route also has a QR code of the intended beta, so, if you wonder what the setter had in mind, you can watch them do the problem.
Our fixed walls also have three beginner routes, one traverse (Green Holds) and two spray routes (Red and Yellow Holds) for those looking for something more ad hoc.
For those looking for something more high-tech and possibly more challenging we have our 8'x14', adjustable Kilter Wall. With the Kilter App you can select one of 1000’s of routes to test your skill. Pick the route and the appropriate holds on the wall light your route. Green for start, yellow for feet only, blue for either hands or feet and purple for the end. You can try your hand at “Floats Your Boat”, a V0 with the wall vertical, or slam the wall to 50 degrees and try the V11 “Flamethrower”. See how you stack up with climbers across the world.
First time to sheer fun?
Important things to know:
- All climbers must have a liability waiver on file.
- For those under 18, the liability waiver must be signed by the legal guardian. If you are not the minor’s parent, please provide legal guardianship documentation.
- Those under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult.
- An adult can supervise at most 3 kids and cannot be climbing.
- All climbers must participate in the gym’s initiation program where we cover gym safety, etiquette and falling skills.
- No “street shoes” are allowed.

Commerce Street runs parallel to US 281 and our unit, #17 is several hundred yards off Commerce. See picture. Parking is available in front or at the end of the lot.
